Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), after clearing all immigrations formalities. Met with your tour guide/representative and drive to Arusha for Dinner and overnight at the Hotel (BB)

Day 2: Cultural tour at Olpopongi Village

You will spend your day & night in the authentic Maasai-Village “Olpopongi” and share 24 hours with native Maasai.
Museum & Village Tour / Traditional Lunch / Walking Safari in the Maasai territory / Learn about Maasai hunting techniques and about incredible natural medicine – plus evening program with Maasai ceremonies, Campfire & BBQ / Breakfast.

Activity: Cultural tours, local dances plus local cuisine etc.

Day 3: Olpopongi-Tarangire National Park.

08:30 Pick up from the village after a short safaris brief and drive to Tarangire national park for game drive in the park, with picnic lunch. Tarangire named after the Tarangire River which rises in Tanzania’s central highland which supporting the ecosystem of Tarangire both Fauna and Flora, the river lures thousands of plains game to its banks with variety of Carnivores, Herbivores and Predators, also the park famous for tree climbing Python. Afternoon/evening game drives en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire-Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, drive from Tarangire heading to Serengeti national park for game drive in the park, the most famous of Tanzania’s National Parks with endless plain. It is most well-known for the annual migration which takes place across the great savannah plains annually in their natural route, since the time of immemorial. Have game drives and you will be able to see leopards, lions, cheetah, and many others. Followed by picnic lunch. Afternoon/evening game drives. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day game drive.

The Serengeti boasts one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet. Annually through out a year millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo, as the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals. Followed by lunch at the camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast morning game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with picnic lunch via Oldupai Gorge which contains some of the earliest signs of mankind ever discovered. Dinner and overnight.

Activity: Game drive/Olduvai Gorge/Maasai village etc.

Day 7: Crater Tour.

Early breakfast, descend into the largest intact volcanic Crater in the world for the tour of the Crater the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a Crater tour nick named “Heaven Garden” due to it’s uniqueness of anthropological and ecological point of view. Followed by picnic lunch at the location within the Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘big 5′ lion, elephant, rare black rhino, buffalo and leopard. Later drives back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Departure

Pick up from the hotel and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for taking in flight and back home or for your onward arrangement
